Privacy Policy: Iron Wardens: Tower Defense
This policy explains what information the Android game Iron Wardens: Tower Defense (package com.unknownnpc.ironwardens, "the game") handles. The game is developed and published by Vitalii Zymukha ("I", "me"). Contact: support@zymukha.dev.
Summary
- The game has no accounts, no sign-in, no chat, no in-app purchases and no analytics of its own.
- Your progress stays on your device. I never receive it.
- The only third-party service in the game is Google AdMob, which shows optional rewarded video ads. Google collects some device data to do that, as described below.
What the game itself stores
- Game progress and settings (completed missions, medals, music and sound settings, whether you finished Training) are saved in a file on your device only. They are not uploaded to me or to anyone else, and they are not backed up to a cloud account by the game.
- I do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, files, precise location or any other personal information.
Permissions
- Internet and network state: used only to load and show ads. The game itself is fully playable offline.
- Advertising ID (
AD_ID): added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK so ads can be measured and, if you allow it, personalized.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows optional rewarded video ads only: you choose to watch one for extra energy or a second chance. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt play, and every mission can be won without watching any ad.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). According to Google's data disclosure for the SDK, when the game requests or shows an ad, the SDK automatically collects and shares with Google:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location;
- product interactions, such as app launches, taps and video views;
- diagnostic information, such as app launch time, hang rate and energy usage;
- device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID.
Google uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. It is encrypted in transit (TLS). How Google processes it is described in:
Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). In these regions the game shows Google's consent message (User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested, so you can choose whether ads may be personalized. To change your choice later, clear the game's storage in Android settings (Settings > Apps > Iron Wardens > Storage > Clear storage); the message is shown again on the next launch. Note that this also resets your game progress.
- Advertising ID. On any Android device you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Security & privacy > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads on some devices). Without it, ads are not personalized.
- Not watching ads. Ads only play when you tap an ad button, so you can avoid ads, and the data they involve, entirely.
US state privacy rights
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you can opt out of targeted advertising by deleting or resetting your advertising ID as described above. I do not sell personal information, and the game itself does not collect any. Data handled by Google is covered by Google's policies and privacy controls.
Children
The game is intended for players 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the game, contact me and I will help.
Data retention and deletion
I hold no data about you, so there is nothing to delete on my side. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in your device settings, deletes all game progress from your device. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained and deleted under Google's policies linked above; you can manage it at myadcenter.google.com.
Security
The game does not send your game data anywhere. Ad traffic between your device and Google is encrypted in transit.
Changes to this policy
